These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kwabosal, a directory that helps people discover Haitian-owned and Haitian-community businesses, services, and experiences. By creating an account or listing a business on Kwabosal, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Kwabosal Is
Kwabosal is a business and service directory. We help people find businesses and connect with them directly by phone or WhatsApp. Kwabosal does not process payments, handle checkout, or act as a party to any sale, booking, or service arrangement between you and a business.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your business profile up to date.
3. Business Listings
If you list a business, you are responsible for the accuracy of everything in your listing — name, description, photos, pricing, and contact details. New listings and significant changes to existing listings are reviewed by our team before becoming visible to the public; we may reject or request changes to any listing that violates these Terms.
4. No Transactions on Kwabosal
All arrangements for services, purchases, bookings, or appointments happen directly between you and the business — outside of Kwabosal, typically by phone call or WhatsApp message. Kwabosal is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, delivery, pricing accuracy, or outcome of any transaction or interaction you have with a listed business.
5. Fees
Kwabosal is currently offered free of charge to business owners as part of our early access program. We may introduce paid plans in the future, as described on our Pricing page; if we do, we'll give existing account holders reasonable notice before any change affecting them takes effect.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Kwabosal to post false, misleading, illegal, or fraudulent listings; impersonate another person or business; scrape or harvest data from the site; or attempt to interfere with the security or normal operation of the platform.
7. Content Removal & Account Suspension
We may remove any listing or suspend any account, at any time, that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users — with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the issue.
8. Disclaimers
Kwabosal is provided "as is." We do our best to review listings before they go live, but we do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete, or currently available. Your use of the site and your dealings with any listed business are at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kwabosal and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your interactions with any business listed on it.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated Terms here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use Kwabosal after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
